Gary is the Director of Stewardship Development for Epicenter Group.  He has helped churches raise $25 million dollars in special appeals, in all sorts of faith communities. His view of stewardship engagement integrates best practices both for people who are bedrocks in a church to young adults and people new to organized religion. Gary has been a pastor of churches small and very large, a church planter, a director of church development and an executive stewardship consultant across the past 40 years.

For a season, Gary directed new church development for The United Methodist Church. He creates excellent things, from stewardship resources, to leadership development books, to oil paintings.  The role of the arts in the spiritual journey is an area of intense interest to Gary.  He is an award-winning Resident Artist at Arts on Main in Gastonia, North Carolina. He and Kim (his wife and partner of 36 years) have two adult sons.  Contact Gary.
